We are currently practicing our Christmas Nativity. The children are looking forward to performing for you on Friday, December 19th at 8:30am.
Each child will be given a role to play in the next few days. Please provide a simple costume for your child to wear. We have a few costumes that have been donated from past families. If you need help with his/her costume please let me know.
When working with children of this age we are never quite sure what will happen on the day of performance. Occasionally we need to do some last minute role changes. Sometimes a child sees his/her parent and is no longer interested in joining the play. If this should happen please do not be alarmed. Your child might just sit next to you and watch this year. (You usually can hear your child singing along).
The program begins at 8:30. Please drop off your child by 8:00 in costume. Plan to be seated in the chapel by 8:15. The performances are very short and if you are 5 minutes late you might miss it.
If you cannot make this performance please find an adult to come watch as the children are very disappointed if no one is there to watch them.
Following the performances we will sing some Christmas songs and then have some cookies and milk on the school lanai. This will conclude our school day.
Have a great Holiday. Please remember during this holiday season to "make room" for what is truly important in life, just as the innkeeper made room for Jesus to be born.
Much love and Aloha,
