LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
We acknowledge Hawaiʻi as an indigenous space whose original people are today identified as Native Hawaiians. The ‘āina on which we gather was yielded under duress and protest to the United States to avoid the bloodshed. We further recognize that generations of indigenous Hawaiians and their knowledge systems shaped Hawaiʻi in a sustainable way that allows us to enjoy her gifts today. For this we are truly grateful and yet we lament this history and injustice. We will continue to work and pray for authentic reconciliation and healing.

JOIN US FOR DIALOGUE ABOUT ISRAELISM
PANCAKE BREAKFAST - SUNDAY, MAY 5TH @ 8:30AM
LOCATION: HALE ALOHA
Pastor Moses will be facilitating a time of dialogue and conversation on Sunday May 5th @ 8:30am on the documentary film ISRAELISM. Please rent the movie online at www.israelismfilm.com before attending this important dialogue. If you attended Faith Actionʻs viewing on-site or on-line, please consider joining us to share your thoughts and learnings.
Additionally, some of our Ministry team members will be providing a free pancake breakfast to enhance the conversation.
ISRAELISM uniquely explores how Jewish attitudes towards Israel are changing dramatically, with massive consequences for the region and for Judaism itself. It also provides insight into the Middle East genocide of innocent Palestinians. Sure to be a time of learning and reflection. Please sign-up at the Welcome Center to help us better prepare for this event. Thank you.

ABOUT OUR HEART
As an (RIC) Reconciling in Christ Congregation, we continue to acknowledge that LGBTQIA+ discrimination occurs inside and outside the church. Therefore, we advocate for the full welcome, inclusion, equity and celebration of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. Amen for the diversity of God’s people! Learn more at RIC
As a congregation seeking racial unity and reconciliation, we continue to acknowledge the lifelong process of unpacking, processing and
rejecting the sin of white supremacy embedded within our society and the American Christian Church. We lament that Black, Brown, Asian, Pacific Islander, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) continue to pay the price of systemic racism with their lives. We pray for the image of God to be the common identity that unites us and heals us, pointing us toward justice and wholeness. Learn more at RIC

As a welcoming and sanctuary congregation, we continue to advocate for protection, dignity and justice for migrants and refugees. We pray for the travelers coming from different parts of the world, for the unaccompanied child, and the single woman, and for families traveling across dangerous paths and places. Help us God, to love them as we love ourselves, as scripture says, for they are displaced because of violence, war, poverty, hunger, and climate shocks. We reject racist policies such as ʻzero tolerance" targeting every undocumented man, woman, and child as criminals. This is unbiblical and incongruent with the language of the scriptures. We support AMMPARO, a holistic, whole church commitment by the ELCA to accompany migrants and refugees. Learn more at AMMPARO
