Thanks to all for a great retreat up at Mokule'ia!
Dear Friends,
A huge round of applause and thanks to everyone who helped organize and encourage us to take some time to go up to Camp Mokule'ia to continue to the process of visioning for our church, and then go out and create beautiful things, songs, memories and possibilities!!!
I thank every member of our Council of Deacons, staff and other members who took the time to made the trip up on Friday so that we could have a very honest and open discussion about group building and our own vision for the future.
I also thank everyone who stayed the weekend and either hosted various creative activities and those who then created! God is good! We even made something beautiful and meaningful from the garbage found on the beach. Now we need to do something to wake up the world to the problem of garbage and plastic that is filling our beautiful ocean and beaches.
The campfire was wonderful as well as the s'mores!
Our worship time was creative and came from the heart of all those who participated.
